We’ll have a talk about recorders at this EMA-style meeting. Robert Small will speak on the topic “Recorder makes, types and designs” using examples from our extensive collection of instruments. He’ll also show Fred Morgan’s beautiful, elegant and accurate drawings of original recorders from the Frans Bruggen collection. These are the drawings almost universally used to make contemporary copies of original recorders. Massed playing at 415Hz will be conducted by Hans Sangtoki. We’ll return to the Fischer music arranged for us by Bernie Williams.
