Workshop: We’re delighted to announce a workshop with esteemed recorder maker, Joachim Rohmer. Joachim is keen to connect with Sydney recorder players! He plans to talk about historical models, the characteristics of different woods, and, most importantly, to demonstrate the sorts of things we can do to properly maintain our own recorders. He will also be carrying out some repair work on different instruments from our members, explaining what he’s doing and why. Come and meet the man who made Sarah Jeffrey’s favourite alto recorder! Repairs: Joachim will be in Sydney for a week from 18th March and is available to repair recorders while he is here. If you would like any repairs done please contact Irene Stone, or send a message via our Contact page, indicating what sort of instrument and what needs repairing. This is a great opportunity everyone! Let’s welcome Joachim to Sydney and make the most of his exceptional skills while he’s here.
